Baby Bandit

When the great photographer, Minor White, would go out to photograph
He would never say, “What will I take today?”
Rather he would ask, “What will I be given today?”  Dewitt Jones

Spread Your Wings!

Today is full of possibilities.
Who cares if others don't see them?
                      Spread your wings!

Brown Thrasher

e.e. cummings wrote:
I thank you God for this most amazing day

for the leaping greenly spirits of trees

and the blue dream of sky

and for everything which is natural

which is infinite
which is yes

Merlin

Spent a few days geocaching and bird watching in the UP.  On a hike to a cache and heard and then saw this Merlin along the shores of Lake Superior.  I had a point and shoot camera so the quality is not the greatest but it's a bird I've only seen twice before in my lifetime.

Happy Easter

All I need to know
I learned from the Easter Bunny!
  •  Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
  •  Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
  • There's no such thing as too much candy.
  • All work and no play can make you a basket case.
  • A cute tail attracts a lot of attention.
  • Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
  • Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
  • Some body parts should be floppy.
  • Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans.
  • Good things come in small, sugar coated packages.
  • The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.
To show your true colors, you have to come out of the shell.
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.
May the joy of the season fill your heart.
AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
Happy Easter!

The Sense Of Wonder

Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth
